Literary Tour

The tour will begin and end in a pub and there will be a coffee stop in the middle (drinks not included in the price). The places we visit will evoke writers who were born in or who lived in Belfast and who had their own particular take on the city. There will be readings of extracts from Ciaran Carson, Seamus Heaney, Michael Longley, Michael Mclaverty, Stewart Parker and many others. Your guide is Blue-Badge trained and also a working actor, born and raised in Belfast.

Bring rain gear, walking shoes and warm clothing (even in the summertime it can be wet and cool). Expect to be enthralled and challenged by the rich word hoard which grew out of these streets! Probably not suited to under-16s.
