Historic City Walking Tour

Over more than 400 years, Belfast has developed from the small Irish settlement of Béal Feirste to a giant of the industrial revolution and later to a scene of a conflict that lasted over thirty years.  At one time the biggest city in Ireland and one of the most industrial city’s in the United Kingdom, Belfast is known as the “Ultimate Victorian City”.

  • Belfast City Hall

  • Linen Quarter

  • Grand Opera House

  • St Anne’s Cathedral

  • Cathedral Quarter

  • Albert Memorial Clock

  • Big Fish

  • St George’s Market

Tour Information

  • Tours start at 10am and 1pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and on all planned Cruise Ship Days

  • Tours last 2 hours and the price is £14 per person plus a small booking fee

  • The meeting point is front gates of Belfast City Hall opposite Visit Belfast Information Office (which is the drop-off/pick-up point for Cruise Shuttle bus)

  • The tour covers approximately 1.5 miles and the ground is level

  • Look for Guide with distinctive Blue Umbrella and Walking Tours Belfast branded clothing

  • Tour will finish close to the City Hall

The meeting point is front gates of Belfast City Hall (Donegall Square North).
